Healing Scriptures

Here are a few scriptures relating to divine healing. This is by no means a complete list but is a good start. Keep in mind what Jesus said in John 14:12-13; 

John 14:12-14 (HCSB) 

¹² “I assure you: The one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.
¹³ Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
¹⁴ If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it."

Healing Scriptures

Jesus Heals Every Sickness & Disease:

Is.61:1 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted...

Matt. 4:24 Then His fame went through Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

Matt. 8:16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were
demon-possessed. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick...

Matt. 9:6 ...And He said to the paralytic, "Arise, take up your bed and walk."

Matt. 9:35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Mark 6:56 ...And as many as touched Him were made well.

Luke 4:40 When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.

Luke 9:11 But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing.

Acts 10:33 "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.


Exodus 15:26 If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians, For I am the Lord that heals you.

Exodus 23:25 So you shall serve the Lord your God and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.

3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that you would prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers.

Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him smitten by God and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we were healed.

Job 42:10 And the Lord restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

1 John 3:8 For this purpose the Son of God was made manifested, to destroy the works of the devil.

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Proverbs 4:20-24 My son, give attention to my words, Incline your ear to my sayings, Do no let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to all that find them and health to all their flesh.
